How does it work?
For a flat fee our clients will have a Responsible Choice chauffeur drive them in their vehicle to their desired destination, where our chauffeur will be picked up by an escort vehicle.
Who drives my car?
A fully insured Responsible Choice chauffeur will drive your vehicle for you while you and your guests sit back and enjoy the ride.
What happens to the chauffeur after he drops me off?
He simply parks your vehicle and then is picked up by the escorts driver immediately or shortly after.
Can I use your service without a car?
No. responsible choice is not a taxi service. We can only drive you in Your car or drive Your car for you.
Can I purchase my drives in advance?
Yes. Have drives added to your account if you are a member or purchase individual vouchers good for anyone to use. They also make a great gift. Contact us for more information.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Responsible choice currently only accepts cash payments for drives and will stop off at a bank machine for your convenience if necessary.

Is this service only for those that have been drinking?
No. responsible choice provides chauffeurs that drive your vehicle for any occasion. If you are to fatigued, too sick or injured, unfamiliar with the area or don’t feel like driving then leave it to us. Even if you are able to drive, you may be over the legal limit . Don’t take the risk. It's not worth the costs.
Will you drive just my car?
Yes. Responsible Choice chauffeurs are insured to drive your vehicle with or without you present. If you are at an event, wish to go out with some friends and want your car home at the end of the night, feel free to call us. Our vehicle shuttling service is available for the same price as our personal chauffeur service
Can I be denied service?
Yes. Responsible Choice representatives reserve the right to deny service at anytime during the course of the ride if they find the car to be unsafe by the standards set by the Ministry of Transportation. A Deny of Service may also occur if you act in any way that could be distracting to the driver. In the unlikely event this occurs, the driver would pull over and assess the situation. The chauffeur may continue with the drive or call a taxi.
Can I smoke during the drive?
We ask that all of our clients ask their chauffeur if he or she minds prior to lighting a cigarette or cigar. However, it is your vehicle and you are free to smoke in it if you wish. Feel free to ask for a chauffeur who does not mind smoking when you book. Please note it is against company policy for Responsible Choice chauffeurs to smoke during the course of a drive.
Why do I have to book?
Like a fine restaurant responsible choice asks that its customers make reservations to ensure that a chauffeur is assigned for you. All booked drives will always take priority over non-booked calls. Late nights on the weekend are very busy, and Responsible Choice promotes booking to ensure you have a chauffeur.
Can I use the service if I don’t book in advance?
Yes, we will still provide chauffeurs for non-booked calls. If you are calling from an establishment that is a member with us there will be no extra charge.
Can my booking time be changed?
Yes. simply call and change the time. We will re-book at no charge.
Can I cancel my drive?
Yes. There is no charge for canceling your drive provided that Responsible Choice representatives are not already on there way to pick you up.
When can I book a drive?
Anytime. You can book a drive whenever you want by calling 613.248.0444. However, only during regular office hours will there be a responsible choice representative to speak with. All drives booked after hours can be left on our answering machine and will be confirmed the following day.
